Gateway
Gateway offers students a chance to study and work towards a career in an industry of their choice. Students will complete an 80 hour work placement with a local employer during term 2 or term 3 and will also complete industry based vocational pathway standards in this industry area.
Waikato Trades Academy
A Trades Academy is a Secondary – Tertiary partnership programme where students are enrolled in the two institutions and complete two qualifications. This programme offers Construction and Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Technology or the Service Sector.
Employability Skills
Students will be working toward a vocational pathway of their choosing. They will complete a wide range of Unit Standards to help prepare them for the future world of work.
